PayMe Australia ("PayMe", "we", "us") operates this registration portal to collect information from individuals who have had a negative commercial experience with HubSpot and/or its accredited implementation partners, for the purposes described in the Permission Statement.
What we collect: first name, last name, email address, mobile number, a description of your experience, the type and (where available) estimated scale of financial or business harm you experienced, relevant dates, the name of any HubSpot partner involved, and any supporting documents you choose to upload.
Why we collect it: to identify whether a pattern exists across multiple people's experiences with HubSpot, and — only with your separate, specific consent — to refer aggregated or individual information to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and/or to a law firm being consulted about a potential class action.
How we handle it: your information is stored in an access-controlled database. Access is restricted to authorised PayMe personnel involved in coordinating this matter. Multi-factor authentication is required to register and to access your own submission. We do not sell, rent, or use your information for marketing purposes.
Who we may share it with: we will not share your individually identifiable information with the ACCC, a law firm, or any third party unless you have given specific consent to that category of sharing. Aggregated, de-identified pattern data may be used to assess whether to proceed with a referral, without identifying you individually, even before individual consent for referral is given.
Retention: we will retain your information for the duration of this matter plus 7 years, or until you request deletion, whichever is earlier, unless we are required to retain it longer by law or because it has already been provided to a third party under your consent.
Your rights: under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time, and may withdraw any consent given, by contacting ian.lindgren@payme.com.au. Withdrawing consent does not affect information already shared with a third party under a consent that was valid at the time.
Security: we apply multi-factor authentication, encrypted storage, and access logging to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps consistent with our obligations under the Privacy Act.
Complaints: if you have concerns about how we've handled your information, contact us at ian.lindgren@payme.com.au. If unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
